Accountant

Client Accounting & BookkeepingManage daily and monthly accounting for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.Maintain general ledgers, journal entries, and supporting schedules.Process accounts payable and accounts receivable through Bill.com or other client systems.Categorize transactions, maintain clean financial records, and ensure proper documentation.Financial ReportingPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Analyze variances and provide insights or recommendations to clients.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow analysis as needed.Client CommunicationServe as a primary point of contact for client inquiries and accounting questions.Participate in regular check-ins or advisory calls with clients.Collaborate with internal team members to resolve issues and support process improvements.Technology & Process ManagementWork within QuickBooks Online, Xero, Bill.com, and other connected cloud-based tools.Recommend workflow efficiencies and best practices for clients.Assist with onboarding new clients, system setup, and software integrations.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in a client-service or outsourced accounting environment.Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero.Experience using Bill.com for AP/AR workflows.Solid understanding of GAAP and small-business accounting fundamentals.Excellent communication and client-relationship skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.Tech-savvy mindset; comfortable learning new accounting applications and workflows.Preferred SkillsExperience with payroll platforms (e.g., Gusto, ADP, Paychex).QuickBooks Online or Xero certifications.Prior experience in public or outsourced accounting.What We OfferCompetitive pay and benefits package.Flexible work environment (100% Remote Work).Opportunities for professional growth and development.A collaborative and supportive team culture.
