This role supports system safety, risk analysis, and compliance activities for complex, mission-critical engineering programs.
In this role, you’ll contribute across the engineering lifecycle—from design and development through integration, testing, production support, and sustainment.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, integrate, and maintain software applications and tools
- Troubleshoot software issues and support test equipment instrumentation
- Work in a multidiscipline engineering team environment
- Develop and refine requirements for software products
- Support integration, validation, and production-facing engineering activities
What We’re Looking For:
- · Typically Requires: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant Systems Engineering or Safety Engineering experience. An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position. · Experience with: System Safety Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software or Firmware Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent Safety Engineering. · Active U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance · · Experience with DoD System Safety Program e.g. MIL
- 882 · Experience with system and software safety implementation in Agile Development environment · Master’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 6 years’ experience · Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Proposal Development Years of Experience Required: · minimum of 8 years of relevant Systems Engineering or Safety Engineering Safety Engineering experience · Education Level Required: · Typically, a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM). Desired, Master’s degree in STEM How will the contractor’s success be measured? : · Maintaining early development and On Time document submittals, integration into engineering teams
