Recycling Sorter/General Labor $21.75 - $23.00/hr.
Days: 6.00 am - 6.30 pm Mon. - Fridays, OR: 7.00 am - 4.30 pm Mon. - Fridays.
2nd/Night Shift: 6.00 pm - 6.30 am M-F
Work up to 60 Hours/week with Premium O/T and Weekly Pay Check.
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sorter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible to picks not conforming material from a moving conveyer on Days with mandatory overtime.
Requirements:
Under supervision, picks not conforming material from a moving conveyer. Performs clean up duties as assigned.
- Responsible for maintaining the required quality of the shredded ICW product
- Remove large pieces of plastic
- Remove stainless steel
- Remove any non-conforming material such as air bags
- Keeps picking areas clean and orderly
- Assists with cleanup duties at the end of production
- Assists with maintenance activities as needed
- High school diploma or GED.. Must be able to lift a minimum of 30-50 lbs and 100 lbs on 2-person lift. Will be required to bend, twist, stoop during cleaning activities.
- Safety:
- Wears all necessary PPE when working in the yard. Follows company safety standards at all times. Failure to follow safety requirements may result in loss of position. Candidates must be able to work overtime hours.
