The Avenue is a Post-Hospital Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Care Facility that offers a distinctive environment not commonly found in skilled nursing facilities. Our facility provides some of the area’s highest level of rehabilitation, nursing and medical support to individuals needing post-hospital care and services. Activity Assistant
Part-Time
Responsibilities include:
Assisting the Activities director in implementing programs of individual and group activities based on resident's needs and preferences.
Assist and implement facility and community events.
Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
Implement evening and weekend activities as assigned.
Documentation of participation through Point Click Care.
Qualifications and Skills required:
Knowledge of Microsoft office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Positive and outgoing personality.
Previous experience in a long term care environment preferred but will consider those with other customer service experience.
Flexibility in scheduling and working every other weekend is required.
