Join a respected company with over 100 years of experience, and bring your skills as a Heavy Equipment Technician to our expanding team in Worthington. As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be repairing processing equipment, conveyors, and heavy equipment to include excavators and front-end loaders.
Responsibilities:
- Examine equipment to determine any damages or malfunctions, service as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment to a defined schedule and maintain preventative maintenance instructions.
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, hydraulics, etc. to ensure they are in proper operating condition.
- Ensure all equipment/facilities are 100% complaint to standard safety practices.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent level of education preferred.
- Previous mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools, drive forklift, assemble heavy mechanisms.
- Ability to stand, sit, lift, bend and climb throughout shift.
- Valid drivers license preferred.
