Feed Mill Operator $18/hr.
Mon-Fri 4:00pm-4:00am
A local agronomy business in the Sheldon IA area is searching for ambitious, punctual, and work-hardened individuals to join their team as a Feed Mill Operator. The Feed Mill Operator assists in the management of the mill and process of storing and mixing of quality feed for livestock.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify quality of ingredients, weigh out drugs and by-hand additions.
- Batch feed in feed mill manager.
- Help load complete feed on truck.
- Operate pellet and roller mills where applicable and necessary.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Prefer previous manufacturing or mixing experience.
- Ability to bend, twist, crawl, crouch, stoop or kneel.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs. frequently.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
