Turf Tech I

The Seagate Golf Club is seeking a dedicated Turf Technician I to join our Golf Course Maintenance Team. As a vital member of our team, you will engage in various activities involved in Golf Course Management, ensuring perfect playing conditions for our members and guests.

Turf Technician I Responsibilities:

• Perform essential tasks such as walk mowing greens and tees, raking bunkers, string trimming, and edging to maintain optimal playing conditions.


• Work on various landscapes and prepare areas for seed or sod installation with precision and care.


• Remove trash and debris from all areas of the property to uphold cleanliness standards.


• Keep work areas and equipment clean and well-maintained.


• Adhere to all Golf Course Maintenance uniform policies and maintain a professional appearance.


• Demonstrate adaptability, flexibility, and initiative in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected.


• Consistently achieve high work standards with attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.



• Basic knowledge of tools and concepts used in Golf Course Maintenance.




• Demonstrated initiative with the ability to think, work, and make independent decisions based on sound judgment.



• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement.



• Ability to perform daily tasks efficiently without interfering with members and guests.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Basic understanding of Golf Course Maintenance principles and practices.


• Ability to follow written and oral instructions effectively.



• Capacity to respond to common inquiries or needs of members and guests.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work in harsh outdoor conditions, including extreme heat, humidity, and inclement weather.




• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, and carrying heavy equipment and supplies.
