What are the responsibilities and job description for the Renovation Technician position at Aventura Grand Ocean, LLC?
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Commercial Renovation Technician to complete renovation and improvement projects throughout a commercial office building in Baltimore, through our affiliate company. This position will focus on modernizing existing spaces, including bathrooms, common areas, corridors, walls, flooring, and other building finishes.
The ideal candidate is well-rounded in interior renovation and can handle projects from demolition through final finishes with limited supervision.
What You'll Do
- Renovate and modernize commercial bathrooms, including upgrading existing fixtures and converting bathrooms to touchless fixtures where applicable
- Perform tile, flooring, drywall, wall repair, painting, framing, carpentry, demolition, and general finish work
- Install and replace bathroom fixtures, partitions, mirrors, accessories, doors, hardware, trim, ceiling components, and other interior finishes
- Perform basic plumbing and fixture work associated with renovations and work around existing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Complete improvements to common areas, corridors, tenant spaces, and other areas throughout the building
- Determine materials and supplies needed for assigned projects and maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- During periods when renovation work is limited, or when urgent building needs arise, assist the building maintenance team with general repairs, maintenance requests, inspections, and other property needs as directed by management
Qualifications
- Experience with commercial or residential renovation/remodeling
- Strong hands-on experience with tile, drywall, painting, and finish work
- Bathroom renovation experience strongly preferred
- Plumbing fixture installation and basic plumbing knowledge preferred
- Carpentry, framing, flooring, and demolition experience preferred
- General knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems is a plus
- Ability to independently complete renovation projects with strong attention to detail
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Must be able to safely work from ladders, bend, kneel, perform overhead work, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 per week
