Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and serving meals to residents in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident care plans
- Ensure food is handled, stored, and prepared safely
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining, and food service areas
- Deliver meals and snacks to residents with courtesy and care
- Work collaboratively with the dietary team to meet residents’ nutritional needs
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous food service or healthcare experience preferred, but not required—training will be provided
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Compassionate and respectful toward residents and their dietary needs
