Aventura at Assumption Village Inn seeks an energetic Admissions Director.
The candidate must have 2 years of SNF experience as an Admissions Coordinator or Director and would exhibit a positive attitude towards customer service, while also being highly skilled at clerical tasks and responsibilities. In a rapidly changing nursing environment, the candidate should be one that can adapt to different situations with a smile.
Admissions Job Description:
Gather sufficient pre-admission data to determine resident level of care to send to Intake team
Work with potential residents and resident's representatives to collect accurate documents for admission.
Work closely with the business office to ensure insurance information is accurate.
Assign room numbers to residents in consultation with the nursing department and administration.
Follow admission, transfer, and discharge policies and procedures.
Keep resident's information accurate and confidential.
Notify appropriate departments of admission.
Explain facility philosophy, policies, and procedures to potential and new residents and their representatives.
Complete admission paperwork with resident and/or resident's representatives/ Admission contracts.
Work closely with the Marketing team and assist with marketing the facility to maintain an adequate census level.
Work closely with all other departments to ensure quality care for residents
Attend morning meetings and give accurate run-down of admissions for the day.
