Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Vice President of Finance to lead the finance function for a fast-growing, acquisition-driven organization. This role requires a strong accounting and financial operations leader who can establish financial rigor, support M&A activities, and partner with executive leadership to build a scalable finance organization. The ideal candidate combines technical accounting expertise with operational execution and a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end close, and financial controls.
Ensure GAAP compliance and oversee annual audits, tax filings, and regulatory requirements.
Manage accrual-based accounting and maintain accurate financial statements.
Drive financial discipline across the organization through timely reporting and insightful analysis.
Lead ERP implementations, financial system enhancements, and post-acquisition system integrations.
Support acquisitions through financial due diligence and finance integration activities.
Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for executive leadership and financial sponsors.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business performance.
Partner with leadership to improve operational efficiency, profitability, and EBITDA.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
12 years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.
Public accounting experience is strongly preferred.
Experience working in a private equity-backed or sponsor-backed organization is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, accrual accounting, audits, tax, and internal controls.
Experience implementing or integrating ERP and financial systems.
Exposure to M&A transactions and post-acquisition integrations is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial judgment.
Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, hands-on environment while leading and developing finance teams.
Salary : $180,000 - $200,000
