Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 8 years of experience to lead quality engineering initiatives for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation framework development, API testing, CI/CD, and enterprise application testing. This role requires close collaboration with Product, Development, and Business teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end QA strategy, planning, and execution.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, API, and End-to-End testing.
- Develop automation using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Validate REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform SQL and backend data validation.
- Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and work with developers on resolutions.
- Review business requirements and technical designs for testability.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA best practices.
- Drive release readiness, quality metrics, and continuous process improvements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Grooming, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Required Skills
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8 years of Software QA experience.
- Strong Automation Testing experience.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- API Testing using Postman.
- SQL and backend validation.
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Jira and defect management.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and QA best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Banking / Financial Services (BFSI) experience (Highly Preferred).
- Wealth Management or Asset Management experience (Preferred).
- Salesforce or Workday testing.
- Performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Accessibility and Visual Testing.
- Experience leading QA teams or mentoring engineers.
Salary : $160,000 - $180,000
