Job description
Aventa Specialized Women's Care is seeking a highly motivated, friendly, and energetic nurse to join our team. We are looking for someone who is a team player with a strong work ethic. Previous OB/GYN experience is preferred but not required.
Major duties & responsibilities include:
- Provides direct patient care to OB/GYN patients
- Completes full and accurate nursing assessments
- Performs telephone triage
- Establishes a care plan in collaboration with the patient, family, and health care team
- Collaborates with care team to ensure smooth and effective transitions of care
- Prepares preparation of clinic rooms and equipment for use
- Assists with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Maintains patient records and documentation according to nursing protocol
- Ability to work schedule and maintains regular and prompt attendance
- Performs other duties as assigned
