Duties
- Thoroughly wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as slicing, chopping, and portioning ingredients following established recipes and safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen environment by cleaning workstations, floors, and storage areas regularly.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, slicers, mixers, and other small appliances.
- Support meal assembly and plating according to menu specifications while adhering to food safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food prep activities and ensure smooth workflow.
- Follow all safety procedures related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment operation to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience in dietary departments or food service environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling techniques.

- Strong knife skills including slicing techniques for efficient ingredient prep.
