What are the responsibilities and job description for the Geared Flexo Printing Lead Operator position at Avenex Coating Technologies?
AvenEx Charleston is seeking a Geared Flexo Press Printing Leader. The candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a production environment operating flexo printing machinery.
Work experience must include:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of a geared driven "Kidder and Uteco" Flexo Press Machine
- Some understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical system commonly found on flexo printers
- Ability to read technical diagrams
- Troubleshoot and have the ability to logically look at registration problems and diagnose the root cause of the problem through systematic troubleshooting specifically for Flexo Printers
- Inspect the Press regularly and disassemble the machine as needed, make repairs, assist in ordering parts
- Experience in leading a small team and communicating with management, set targets and manage productivity to improve unit costs
- Willing to work after regular work hours and weekends if necessary to meet customer needs
