Our client is seeking an Employee Relations Consultant to provide professional HR advice and first-line support to managers and employees across the organization. This role involves managing a variety of ER cases from start to resolution, including absence management, performance issues, grievances, and disciplinaries. The successful candidate will coach managers on best practices, ensure compliance with employment law, and contribute to ER projects and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert HR guidance on employee relations and people matters.
- Manage end-to-end ER cases, including documentation and meeting support.
- Support redundancy processes and absence management, including Occupational Health referrals.
- Analyze HR data and trends to recommend policy improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong knowledge of HR policies and regulations.
- Hands on end-to-end ER case management for a significant amount of cases monthly.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and coaching skills.
- Proficient in MS Office with intermediate Excel skills.
- Outcome-focused, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
