Consultant – Rural Healthcare Business Development | Arkansas
AVEM Health Partners is seeking an experienced rural healthcare consultant/business development professional with strong relationships across the Arkansas rural healthcare and Critical Access Hospital (CAH) community.
AVEM has been providing quality healthcare to rural America for more than 15 years. We are now expanding our rural healthcare strategy into Arkansas, Missouri, and Texas and are looking for a well-connected individual who can help us build meaningful relationships in these markets.
What You'll Do
The primary responsibility is simple:
Open doors and build relationships.
We are looking for someone who can:
• Identify rural hospitals and CAHs that may be appropriate for AVEM
• Connect directly with hospital CEOs, administrators, board members, physicians, and other key decision-makers
• Facilitate 1–2 face-to-face meetings each month with rural hospital leadership
• Introduce AVEM's capabilities and rural healthcare partnership model
• Develop trusted, long-term relationships with hospital leadership
• Identify organizations that may be considering strategic partnerships, management arrangements, affiliations, or other opportunities
• Provide AVEM with relevant market intelligence and relationship insights
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is already well connected in Arkansas rural healthcare.
You should have:
• Established relationships with CAH and rural hospital leadership
• Direct access to CEOs, administrators, and other decision-makers
• Strong knowledge of the Arkansas rural healthcare landscape
• Credibility within the rural healthcare community
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
• The ability to represent AVEM professionally and authentically
This is not a traditional research or report-writing consulting role. We are looking for someone whose relationships, credibility, and ability to create access can help AVEM establish a meaningful presence in the Arkansas rural healthcare market.
