Position Summary:The Plant Manager will oversee all daily operations of our food manufacturing facility, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across all departments. This role requires a proactive leader with strong experience in food production and process optimization, capable of managing teams, coordinating production schedules, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Manage and supervise all plant operations including production, maintenance, quality control, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, FSMA, GMP, and HACCP food safety standards.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to meet production goals while minimizing costs and waste.
- Lead, train, and motivate production staff to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the R&D and Quality Assurance teams to maintain product consistency and quality.
- Oversee preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Track and report production metrics, KPIs, and operational performance to senior management.
- Manage supply chain coordination for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, productivity, and sustainability.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Science, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in plant or operations management within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of food safety systems (GMP, HACCP, FSMA) and production workflows.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in production planning, budgeting, and performance analysis.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
