Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment? AVEKA Nutra Processing is looking for a Production Operator to join our Operations team!
In this role, you’ll help ensure our products are accurately weighed, securely packaged, properly inspected, and ready for shipment. This is an entry level position and you’ll receive on-the-job training, work alongside a supportive team, and have opportunities to learn new equipment and develop additional skills.

What You'll Do
- Package, weigh, seal, and stack finished products according to established procedures.
- Operate packaging equipment and assist with other manufacturing processes.
- Verify product weights and use metal detection equipment to help ensure product quality.
- Complete required documentation accurately and maintain proper records.
- Calibrate scales and follow established quality and safety procedures.
- Work with team members to keep production running smoothly throughout the shift.
- Assist with setting up equipment and implementing new or improved processes.
- Move completed pallets and prepare new pallets with the help of mechanical equipment when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Learn additional manufacturing equipment, including mixers, spray dryers, and bioreactors, as you develop your skills.
What We're Looking For
- Manufacturing or food processing experience is preferred, but a willingness to learn is important.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Basic math skills and the ability to use a calculator.
- Ability to read, write, and complete production documentation in English.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality products.
- A dependable team player who communicates and works well with others.
- Ability to work independently while following safety and quality procedures.
- Willingness to learn new processes, operate different types of equipment, and take on new responsibilities.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification.
Benefits & Pay
Base wage is $18.50 per hour plus shift premiums. 3rd shift has a $1.50 shift premium. After 60 days your performance and fit with the company will be evaluated and you will be eligible for a 50¢ raise. Other benefits include health, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, Life & AD&D insurance, STD, LTD, ID and legal services, 401K matching, and ESOP stock ownership.
