Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep properties vibrant and healthy
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
- Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers, installing retaining walls, and other construction activities
- Perform tree care duties including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth and safety
- Conduct lawn care routines such as aeration, fertilization, and snow plowing during appropriate seasons
- Maintain horticultural standards through gardening practices that enhance plant health and landscape appearance
- Support overall site maintenance by performing routine inspections, cleaning tools, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools for landscaping tasks
- Familiarity with lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance, and gardening principles
- Experience operating equipment such as excavators or irrigation systems is a plus
- Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Prior experience in construction or hardscape installation is desirable but not required
