Job Description Summary
In the absence of the Administrator, the Administrator Designee will become the acting Administrator and will be vested with authority to act in behalf of the Administrator.
The Administrator Designee is responsible for the overall day to day operations of the hospice services. He/she is responsible fore the employmenr of qualified hospice personnel; is responsible fore the provision of hospice services, directly, and the delegation to and coordination of hospice personnel evaluations; is responsible for establishing standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations and guidelines. The Administrator Designee establishes, implements and evaluates goals and objectives for hospice services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Operation planning and budgeting.
- Ensuring organizational compliance with legal, regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Assures that all business conduct is above the minimum standards required by law and will not condone activities that acheive results through violation of the law, unethical business or patient care practices.
- Monitoring business operations to insure financial stability.
- Conflict and compliant management and resolution.
- Ensure that structure and systems promote interdiscplinary care.
- Ensuring supportive services are available to personnel. Shall be available on the premises or by telecommunication during normal business hours.

Position Qualifications
- Two years of full-time supervisory or managerial experience within the last five yeras in hospice, home health, or related health care settings
- Baccalaureate degree or higher in health related field
- Understands hospice care and services provided to patient and family/caregiver through an Interdisciplinary group
- Intimate knowledge of Medicare Hospice Certification
Pay: $500.00 per month
