Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Naples/Ave Maria, FL, for a Dance Instructor. The Dance Instructor will be responsible for teaching dance classes across various styles, designing lesson plans that align with students’ skill levels and progression, and fostering a positive and supportive classroom environment. Additional responsibilities include preparing students for performances, competitions, and evaluations, as well as collaborating with fellow faculty members to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive dance program.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Dance Instruction and Dance Education
- Experience in one or more dance forms including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, hip hop, acro, ballroom, and other styles
- Proficiency in teaching and mentoring students of different age groups and skill levels
- Understanding of dance and music to create well-rounded and engaging lessons
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and parents
- Ability to choreograph and prepare students for performances and competitions
- Commitment to maintaining a respectful and inclusive learning environment
Preferred but not Required: Bachelor’s degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or equivalent professional experience
