The role supports product development and laboratory activities within a beverage and hydration-focused product development environment. Responsibilities include beverage and syrup preparation, sampling and analysis, lab-scale trials, shipment coordination, research support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
The selected candidate will perform technical procedures in a research laboratory with minimal supervision, applying standard scientific techniques, laboratory procedures, and analytical principles.
Key Responsibilities- Perform technical laboratory procedures using established scientific techniques and analytical methods.
- Conduct beverage and syrup preparation for product development activities.
- Perform sampling, testing, and analysis of laboratory materials and product samples.
- Conduct lab-scale trials to support product development and formulation activities.
- Operate specialized laboratory equipment and perform complex tests and procedures.
- Consult with senior laboratory personnel regarding research procedures and techniques and recommend modifications when appropriate.
- Procure and order laboratory supplies, materials, and experimental products.
- Conduct literature reviews and research to obtain relevant scientific information.
- Perform statistical calculations and analyze laboratory data.
- Prepare reports summarizing research findings and test results.
- Coordinate product and sample shipments as required.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
- Provide cross-functional support for product development projects.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures, quality standards, and established protocols.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or another relevant scientific discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 3–5 years of relevant laboratory or product development experience.
- Knowledge of complex laboratory techniques, equipment, terminology, materials, and substances.
- Hands-on experience using laboratory equipment.
- Ability to perform statistical calculations and analyze data.
- Strong technical documentation and report-writing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional product development environment.
