Avbel Engineering is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or newly certified EIT interested in pursuing Professional Engineering (PE) licensure in Pennsylvania and other states.Responsibilities:Perform structural analysis and design of buildings and foundation systems.Apply building codes and industry standards (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, etc.).Review architectural and structural drawings for compliance with codes and design requirements.Prepare calculations, sketches, schematics, and construction documents.Collaborate with engineers, architects, builders, project managers, and clients.Maintain accurate project documentation.Complete tasks within scope, schedule, and budget.Participate in site visits and construction inspections as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (required).EIT certification (preferred or in progress).Interest in pursuing PE licensure.Knowledge of structural engineering principles and design practices.Familiarity with building codes and construction standards.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Experience with structural analysis software (RISA, STAAD, SAP2000, etc.) is a plus.Experience with drafting/modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus.U.S. Citizenship required due to project requirements.This position is not remote; local candidates only.
