Summary
We're hiring an Amazon Specialist to manage the day-to-day of our Amazon business for Karuna Skin and Avatara Skin out of our Culver City office. You'll work closely with our Director of Marketing to execute ppc, listings optimization, inventory tasks, launches, and reporting — keeping both brands running smoothly on Amazon and helping drive growth.
This is a hands-on operator role. You'll execute the PPC, optimize the catalog, forecast inventory, and help drive revenue growth across two brands. Strong candidates will bring real Seller Central experience and a track record of moving the numbers.
Duties and Responsibilities
Storefront & Catalog Management
- Support full execution of Amazon Seller Central operations, including account management, product listings, sales tracking, and inventory monitoring.
- Optimize product content (update and optimize product listings — titles, bullets, descriptions, images, and backend keywords) to improve visibility, conversion, and sales performance.
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns, deals, and seasonal strategies to drive sales growth.
- Monitor account health, KPIs, and performance metrics, identifying opportunities for optimization and risk mitigation.
- Maintain A Content and Brand Stores for both brands
- Help launch new SKUs; manage variations, parentages, and catalog hygiene
- Maintain Brand Registry; flag unauthorized sellers, hijackers, and IP issues
Amazon PPC & Digital Advertising
- Manage and optimize Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns under the direction of the Director of Marketing
- Monitor ACoS, TACoS, and ROAS; make daily and weekly bid and budget adjustments
- Conduct keyword research, search-term harvesting, and negative-keyword management
- Assist in the execution and optimization of paid media campaigns across social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), paid search, and retail paid ads.
- Monitor campaign performance, implementing optimizations based on KPIs, ROAS, and engagement metrics.
- Support reporting on campaign effectiveness and provide actionable recommendations for scaling and improvement.
Inventory & Operations
- Monitor FBA inventory levels and flag stockout or storage-fee risks for review
- Open and resolve Seller Support cases — suppressed listings, reimbursements, account health
- Monitor reviews and Q&A; support Vine and review-generation efforts
- Help ensure compliance with Amazon policies and beauty category requirements
Data & Performance Analysis
- Track, analyze, and report on sales, advertising, and campaign performance across all Amazon and new digital channels.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement using data-driven insights.
- Pull weekly and monthly performance reports tracking revenue, units, conversion, ad efficiency, and inventory
- Keep all reporting trackers, dashboards, and shared documents up-to-date on a consistent cadence — sales, ad spend, inventory, new launches, and review monitoring
- Surface insights, anomalies, and recommendations to the Marketing team
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Marketing Support
- Work closely with ecommerce, marketing, social, and operations teams to ensure campaigns and product launches are executed seamlessly.
- Support customer service and coordinate with the Customer Support team to address inquiries, resolve issues, and enhance the customer experience.
- Assist with broader marketing team projects, including campaign development, content creation, and internal initiatives.
- Help coordinate timelines, assets, and deliverables for cross-channel campaigns and projects to ensure alignment with business goals.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central (listing management, inventory, pricing, and catalog optimization)
- Understanding of Amazon Ads or paid media platforms (e.g., Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads)
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting sales, advertising, and performance data
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and analysis
- Familiarity with FBA logistics, inventory basics, and Amazon's fee structure
- Experience supporting or managing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in beauty, skincare, wellness, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry
- Familiarity with A Content creation and SEO optimization for Amazon listings
- Experience with performance marketing metrics such as ROAS, CAC, CTR, and conversion rate optimization
- Familiarity with tools like Helium 10 or Jungle Scout
Compensation: $30-$33/hour based on experience and qualifications.
