A leading San Francisco law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Assistant/Secretary with strong employment law litigation experience to support a busy team of attorneys in a fast-paced, sophisticated practice. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative and litigation support to attorneys handling employment litigation matters in state and federal courts
- Prepare, revise, proofread, and format pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents
- Manage court filings, including e-filing in California state and federal courts, and monitor deadlines and litigation calendars
- Coordinate attorney schedules, meetings, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation activities
- Maintain case files, organize exhibits, and assist with document management and discovery processes
- Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and vendors
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation secretary experience, with substantial employment law litigation experience required
- Strong knowledge of California and federal court rules, procedures, and e-filing systems
- Excellent proofreading, organizational, and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail
- Professional communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
Salary : $85,000 - $115,000
