Major Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans.
• Supervises staff and oversees patient care in accordance with standards of care and practice and applicable state/federal regulations.
• Supervises CNAs and LPNs during shifts, including assigning and distributing work, performance management, and ensuring work is performed in accordance with facility standards.
• Monitor residents' conditions, assess symptoms, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best care for residents.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care.
• Educate residents and families about health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a warm, home-like setting.
• Offer comfort, encouragement, and clinical expertise – every shift, every resident.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with an active, unencumbered state license.
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient-centered care.
• Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing resident needs.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliability – report to work on time when scheduled.
• A gentle, respectful approach when communicating with residents.
• Team spirit and a positive attitude.
• A commitment to making our residents feel safe, loved, and heard.
