Major Responsibilities:
- Under supervision of the Laundry Supervisor and/or Nursing Home Administrator, you will assure the laundry is maintained, in a clean, safe and sanitary manner with adequate supply of linen on hand always to meet the needs of the residents.
- Sort laundry, linen, garments.
- Perform tasks such as folding and delivering residents' laundry daily.
- Load and empty washers and dryers.
- Assist nursing staff with cleaning out residents' closets.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Practical knowledge of day-to-day cleaning in a long-term care facility.
- Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions.
- Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
- Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with staff and vendors
