In this role, you'll oversee the upkeep and repair of hotel systems, guest rooms, and public areas, ensuring every guest enjoys a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment. This is an ideal role for a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and supporting a top-tier hospitality experience.
What You'll Do...
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on hotel systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical equipment
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolutions
- Conduct preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and maintain property standards
- Troubleshoot and repair guest room issues, including lighting, fixtures, and furniture
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, and repairs
- Assist with property improvements, renovations, and special projects as assigned
- Ensure safety compliance with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and company policies
- Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk teams to ensure guest satisfaction
- Monitor inventory of tools, parts, and supplies, reporting any needs to management
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
- Ability to lift, push, and carry items up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing, walking, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
Requirements
What you'll bring...
- 2 years of maintenance or engineering experience in hospitality, commercial, or residential properties preferred
- Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance practices
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills and a guest-first approach
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed
- Must reside in the United States
