Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Medical Technologist role located in Edison, NJ. The Medical Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic laboratory tests, conducting quality control procedures, analyzing samples, and ensuring proper laboratory protocols. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to compliance standards, and collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results that support patient care.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Medical Technology and Laboratory Medicine specifically for our Chemistry Department.
- Proficient in Laboratory Skills and Quality Control processes
- Understanding and experience in Laboratory Medicine and the use of state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Certification as a Medical Technologist or equivalent credential (e.g., ASCP, AMT) is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
- Experience working in a CLIA/CAP-certified laboratory is a plus
