Couriers/Drivers for laboratory
Position Summary:

Couriers are responsible for picking up and transports specimens, reports, and supplies following a designated route under supervision.

We are looking for reliable and punctual candidates with good time management skills for the position of courier

Job Responsibilities:

· Be consistent in providing high-quality service through clear communication, picking up specimens, delivering lab results, and supplies

· Ability to effectively organize reports and supply deliveries to ensure that client’s expectations are met.

· Expertly Utilizes navigation apps to find the most optimal route.

· Interacts with clients in professional conduct and be available to work at nights and weekends as required.

· Maintains an organized travel schedule, ensure that vehicles have sufficient gas and are always ready for use

· Utilizes mobile data terminal to accurately record routine and will call client stops, specimen counts and types. Responsible for reporting client route information. Couriers shall strive for zero missed specimen pickups.

· Communicates with dispatch by radio or telephone on all service related issues.

· Trains new couriers on routes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A valid driver's license.
• At least 1-year driving experience.
• Extensive knowledge of the operating area.
• Physical strength and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency using GPS devices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
