Duties and responsibilities performed by the School Specialist position are intended to help drive sales efforts and revenue generation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prospect, contact, and educate school representatives to help buildout their kitchen infrastructure.Recommend and sell kitchen equipment that is consistent with program needs and budgets.Log all relevant emails, phone calls and meetings in Salesforce on a weekly basis.Available to answer and fulfill customer requests and needs. Required Qualifications3- 5 years’ experience selling to nutrition services directors or school cafeteria personnelAbility to be personable, relate to, and energetically interact with people to develop relationships.Ability to successfully multi-task, prioritize, and execute.Ability to be extraordinarily resourceful both independently and collaborativelyDriven to get the job done with a can-do attitudeProfessional and effective verbal and written communicationAble to travel to targeted school districts around Southern CaliforniaPreferred Qualifications Salesforce and Auto Quotes experience or ability to learn a new software program. Supervisory ResponsibilityThe position has no current supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as: computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and works under fluorescent lighting. Noise levels are moderate.
