Role Overview
We’re looking for a Microbiology Scientist with experience working with BSL-2 pathogens to support cutting-edge research and product development. This hands-on lab role will involve antimicrobial efficacy testing, assay development, data analysis, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
What You'll Do
- Conduct antimicrobial testing following EPA/FDA protocols
- Support field trials and collaborative R&D programs
- Develop and validate new microbiological assays
- Document protocols and generate data for grants and product submissions
- Present findings to technical teams
- Assist with lab operations and vendor coordination
What We're Looking For
- BS/MS/PhD in Microbiology or a related field
- 1–5 years of lab experience, including handling BSL-2 organisms
- Strong aseptic technique and microbial assay skills
- Experience with molecular methods (PCR, extraction) a plus
- Detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative
