Part-Time Salon & Spa Deep Cleaning Attendant
Job Summary
Avanté Salon & Day Spa in Mansfield is looking for a dependable, highly detail-oriented person to perform thorough deep cleaning throughout our salon and spa.
We are a busy, high-end salon and spa, and cleanliness is extremely important to the experience we provide our guests. This position requires someone who notices small details, takes pride in their work, and is willing to complete more than basic surface cleaning.
This is a part-time position consisting of four-hour shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, and occasional Sundays for approximately 12 hours per week.
Primary ResponsibilitiesRestroom Deep Cleaning
- Thoroughly clean and disinfect toilets, including the base, seat, lid, tank, and surrounding areas
- Clean sinks, faucets, countertops, mirrors, walls, doors, and fixtures
- Sweep and mop restroom floors
- Clean baseboards, corners, edges, and areas behind fixtures
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Restock toilet paper, soap, and other restroom supplies
- Check restrooms for cleanliness, odors, and needed maintenance
- Ensure restrooms remain spotless, sanitary, and fully stocked
Salon Floor and Station Cleaning
- Clean and disinfect all salon chairs, including chair bases, footrests, arms, backs, and hard-to-reach areas
- Clean and disinfect styling stations, rolling stands, trays, carts, and equipment surfaces
- Lift and clean underneath movable equipment
- Clean and disinfect salon mats
- Remove hair, dust, product buildup, stains, and residue from salon areas
- Clean mirrors, countertops, shelves, cabinets, and other surfaces
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors thoroughly, including corners, edges, and underneath furniture
- Clean baseboards, doors, walls, vents, and other commonly overlooked areas
General Deep Cleaning
- Dust and wipe furniture, décor, shelves, fixtures, and common areas
- Empty trash and replace liners throughout the building
- Clean assigned spaces on designated days
- Keep cleaning equipment and supply areas organized
- Notify management when supplies are running low or when maintenance issues are noticed
- Complete detailed cleaning checklists during every shift
- Perform additional deep-cleaning projects as assigned

- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Takes initiative and does not overlook corners, baseboards, chair bases, or hard-to-reach areas
- Comfortable performing repetitive and physically demanding cleaning tasks
- Able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, lift, and move salon chairs, mats, and light equipment
- Takes pride in maintaining a spotless and sanitary environment
- Previous professional cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial experience is preferred
Pay: $20-$25/hr depending on proficiency.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
