Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Join Avant Tech as a Registered Nurse in our Operating Room located in Decatur, GA. In this fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will provide critical care and support to patients experiencing medical emergencies. Your role will be pivotal in assessing patient needs, prioritizing care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality emergency care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage and assess emergency patients
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Perform phlebotomy, wound care, and line management
• Assist with procedures and patient monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams
• Provide care for isolation and trauma patients
• Maintain detailed, timely documentation
• Support patient education and discharge
  
  

Requirements

Required:

• Active, unrestricted RN license (any U.S. state)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE-accredited program
• 3 years of recent experience in an Emergency Department or trauma center
• No more than a 6-month gap in ED/ER practice
  
  

Preferred:

• BSN or MSN
• Experience in high-volume trauma centers
