IP Trademark Associate Attorney

Avant Tech is looking for a skilled and passionate IP Trademark Associate Attorney to join our esteemed intellectual property team. This role will focus on providing expert legal counsel regarding trademark registration, enforcement, and compliance for a diverse range of clients, including startups and established corporations in the technology sector.

Key Responsibilities::

• Conduct comprehensive trademark searches, analysis, and opinions.
• Prepare and file trademark applications with the United States Trademark Office (USPTO).
• Manage and enforce trademark portfolios, including renewal and monitoring of trademarks.
• Advise clients on trademark strategy, including the selection and clearance of trademarks.
• Represent clients in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the USPTO.
• Assist in drafting and negotiating licensing agreements and trademark co-existence agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide integrated business and legal advice on IP matters.
• Stay updated on IP law trends and developments to provide strategic insights to clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• 3–5 years of experience in intellectual property law, with a focus on trademark prosecution and litigation.
• Active membership in a state bar, with clear standing.
• Experience with USPTO procedures and practices required.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills, with an ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude.
