• Develop educational materials, including lesson plans, activity guides, and multimedia content to enhance learning experiences.
• Conduct historical research related to scientific discoveries or museum collections to enrich educational content.
• Manage and maintain collections, artifacts, or specimens with attention to cataloging, preservation, and organization standards.
• Collaborate with team members on fundraising initiatives, grant proposal writing, and social media management to promote programs and events.
• Utilize databases and digital tools for record keeping, registration management, and tracking program participation.
• Work directly with children and community groups to foster curiosity through classroom-style teaching and public outreach activities.
• Support museum or cultural organization operations by providing excellent customer service during visits or special events.
• Assist in budgeting processes for educational projects and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in teaching or classroom instruction, especially in science or related fields.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and engagingly.
• Experience with social media management, digital outreach, or marketing is a plus.
• Knowledge of collection management practices within museums or cultural institutions.
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Background in research related to science history or museum collections preferred.
• Excellent writing skills for grant proposals, educational content creation, and reports.
• Experience working with children or diverse community groups in educational settings.
• Familiarity with databases for research, cataloging, or customer relationship management (CRM).
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining high standards of customer service.
