Machine Operator -- Immediate Need!
Location: Raleigh, NC
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday - Friday | 245PM-1045PM
Pay: $17.00 per hour

We have one Finishing Operator position available within a printing company that are in search of candidates that desire to grow within a company.
Duties performed by the Machine Operator:
The Finishing Operator is responsible for inspecting printed label orders to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with customer specifications and company quality standards. This role verifies copy and color accuracy, completes required documentation, identifies and removes defective materials, and prepares finished products for shipment. This a quality heavy position, but machinery experience is required as well.
- Perform quality inspections on finished label orders to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Complete inspection worksheets for all assigned finishing functions.
- Verify copy accuracy against Quality Assurance approved copy samples.
- Verify color accuracy against Quality Assurance approved color samples.
- Ensure all customer finishing specifications are followed and documented.
- Maintain a daily log of all inspected orders.
- Identify and remove inferior or defective printed materials from production runs.
- Package completed orders into cartons and apply all required identification labels and shipping documentation.
- Accurately complete all required production and quality-related paperwork.
- Communicate quality concerns, discrepancies, and production issues to the supervisor in a timely manner.
- Follow company safety policies, quality procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements for the Machine Operator:
- Clean criminal background (unfortunately, no felony convictions)
- Clean drug screen
- Have at least 2 years of consistent machine operation experience
- Have at least 2 years of consistent quality inspection experience
- Ability to navigate within a computer system
- Ability to stand for an 8 hour shift
- Attention to details needed
- Legible handwriting
- Previous printing experience is a plus!
