About the Event:
Avant-Garde Event Services is hiring Event Bartenders & Event Staff POS Operators for one of our biggest Mountain events — Beaver Creek Oktoberfest! This is a high-volume, fast-paced event in the heart of Beaver Creek Town Center.
Important: Availability for all 3 days (Sept 4–6) is mandatory. Lodging is not provided — staff are responsible for their own transportation and accommodations.
Available Positions:
Bartender (Must be 21 )
- Serve alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages quickly and responsibly
- Operate Square POS with accuracy
- Provide outstanding hospitality to guests and teammates
- Set up, stock, and break down bar stations
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Communicate with team leaders and captains
Requirements: Valid TIPS or ABT On-Premise Certification | Bartending experience in events, banquets, or high-volume settings | Ability to lift 50 lbs & stand for extended periods
Event Staff / POS Operator
- Process transactions via POS system
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments
- Issue receipts and provide friendly customer service
- Assist with product/merchandise distribution
- Keep cashier stations clean and organized
- Communicate with team for smooth operations
Requirements: Strong customer service skills | Comfortable with POS systems | Detail-oriented under pressure | Willing to assist in multiple roles | Reliable and punctual
