Job Summary

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment. This role involves routine cleaning tasks, ensuring hygiene standards are met and assisting the HR in setting up and clean-up of events. The janitor works independently support the overall cleanliness and functionality of the facility.

Primary Job Responsibilities & Expectations

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms and other common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning and breakroom supplies.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, cups, ect.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, unclogging drains)
• Report major repairs or safety hazards to management.
• Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals properly.
• Assist HR with set up and clean up of employee events.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment
