Business Intelligence Developer
Key Responsibilities
Utilize BI development experience in Tableau, AWS data services (Redshift, RDS, Athena, Glue).
Conduct requirements gathering and stakeholder interviews to define Personas, Use cases, metrics, KPIs, and data sources.
Perform data profiling to assess data quality, completeness, and lineage of identified source systems.
Create transformation logic (ETL/ELT) to support dashboard metrics.
Develop interactive dashboards in Tableau with role-based views and filters.
Implement visualizations for agreed metrics and KPIs.
Conduct basic performance tuning and optimization for dashboard load times.
Document requirements, design, ETL spec, and user guide.
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for end users.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 6 years of Tableau dashboard development experience.
Minimum 10 years of experience in complex data environments with advanced SQL and data modeling.
Demonstrated track record of leading projects and training others.
Proficiency in transforming complex data into actionable business insights and troubleshooting analytics pipeline issues.
Consistent adoption of best practices to ensure data accuracy and accountability.
Technical Skills & Experience
BI development expertise using Tableau.
Strong proficiency in SQL and Data Modeling.
Experience with relational databases like Redshift, RDS, Databricks.
Ability to create transformation logic (ETL/ELT) to support dashboard metrics.
Development of interactive dashboards in Tableau with role-based views and filters.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS data services such as Redshift, RDS, Athena, Glue.
Ability to conduct documentation of requirements, designs, and user guides.
