We are seeking a dedicated and organized Specialty Care Patient Coordinator to support the Behavioral Health and Nutrition service lines. This role acts as a critical liaison between behavioral therapists, dietitians, and patients—ensuring seamless communication and a high level of customer service. Selected Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient flow and scheduling for behavioral therapists and registered dietitians
- Accurately check patients in/out and verify information in the system
- Answer phone calls and electronic communications; relay messages promptly
- Explain insurance benefits, service fees, and organizational policies to patients
- Support online appointment rescheduling and monitor provider waitlist
- Ensure required forms and documentation are completed for in-person and virtual visits
- Provide administrative support for group classes, including some evening sessions
- Post patient payments and manage billing entries
- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Perform general administrative duties and cover for team members as needed
Other Priorities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA compliance.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in EMR systems (EPIC strongly preferred) and Microsoft Office.
