Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.

• Provide rehabilitative care focused on improving motor skills, coordination, and strength.

• Instruct patients in the use of adaptive equipment and techniques to increase independence.

• Document patient progress, maintain accurate treatment records, and report changes to the supervising therapist.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (nursing, PT, speech, etc.) to ensure continuity of care.

• Promote a positive, supportive, and safe environment for all residents and staff.
