Duties of Certified Nursing Assistant CNA
Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
Provide basic medical care including catheter care and medication administration under supervision.
Support patients with mobility needs using equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Document patient information accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
