Avalon's Aurora location trains students for successful careers in the fields of cosmetology and esthetics.
Description:
The School Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of school personnel in admissions, education, financial aid, student services and administration.
Responsibilities Include:
- Directly supervise Education and Administrative employees
- Dotted-Line supervisory responsibility for Admissions and Financial Aid
- Ensure compliance with State and Accrediting regulations
- P&L Responsibility for the campus
- Budget reparation and tracking to financial and operating metrics
- Maintain and improve staff and student retention
- Motivate campus personnel through recognition and career development
Job Requirements:
- Associates Degree or higher
- Minimum of two (2) years of for-profit school experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
- Microsoft Office experience is required: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Problem-solving abilities and basic technical troubleshooting skills
- Exceptional social interaction skills
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, perform well under pressure, meet deadlines, and work a flexible schedule
- Professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude
- Cosmetology or Esthetics background a plus
