The Warehouse Distribution Associate is responsible for accurately picking material utilizing RF scanners, securely stacking goods on pallets, and preparing orders to be transferred to destination warehouses. Here is what you can expect in your role as Warehouse Associate – also known as responsibilities:

• Select and palletize customer orders by carton in an accurate and timely manner
• Operate stand-up forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure items are stacked securely to prevent damage in transit
• Prepare outbound shipments by labeling, sealing, and staging orders
• Assist with general warehouse organization and cleanliness
• Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, orderly work area
• Perform routine equipment checks and immediately report any malfunctions or safety concerns

What You Bring to the Table:

• Ability to work 40 hours per week/5 days, Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Previous experience operating a stand-up reach truck
• Previous warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret RF scanners accurately
• Ability to read and interpret product labels
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic scanner knowledge is a plus
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Must be comfortable with regular exposure to dust, noise, and heavy materials

Physical demands

In performing the job of a Warehouse Distribution Associate, the employee must stand and walk for an 8 hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent bending, grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of fragile packages that typically weigh up to 80 lbs. and occasionally weigh up to 100 lbs. with hands and arms. This position requires you to operate equipment for the duration of the shift. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing. This position requires ability to adapt to changing workloads as well as general warehouse maintenance (sweep, empty dumpsters, replace racking)

Working Environment

The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool. The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise. Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines. Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.
