Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Superintendent role based in Denver, CO. The Assistant Superintendent will support our Superintendents in overseeing daily on-site construction operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities include supervising subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, maintaining project materials and schedules, and resolving on-site issues as they arise. This role involves frequent collaboration with team members to ensure work aligns with project plans, timelines, and customer expectations.
Qualifications
- Assist Superintendents in the daily needs of commercial construction projects.
- Direct interaction and scheduling of subcontractors
- Partial oversight of the project schedule - including material deliveries and inspections
- Work closely with Superintendents on RFI’s, change orders, punchlists, etc.
- Make employee safety a priority both in-house and on-site, in accordance with corporate policy
- Effective support of projects; meeting schedule milestones and deadlines while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Ensuring projects are executed with technical proficiency, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Represent Avalon Construction to clients in a professional manner
- Ability to read blueprints and understand the order of tasks to achieve completion
