We are a nonprofit thrift store supporting an agency that serves survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault across seven counties. Every donation we pick up, every item we deliver, and every piece of furniture we move directly helps fund life-saving services for survivors.
Role Summary
We’re looking for a dependable, physically capable truck driver to handle donation pickups, deliveries, and furniture movement. This role is hands-on and vital to keeping our thrift store operations running smoothly. You’ll represent our mission in the community while safely transporting and moving donated items—including heavy furniture.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the company pickup/delivery truck for scheduled donation pickups and deliveries
- Load, unload, and move furniture and large items safely and efficiently
- Lift, carry, and maneuver items in homes, businesses, and the store
- Communicate professionally with donors and customers
- Keep the truck clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Work with the Store Manager to coordinate routes and logistics
- Represent our mission with professionalism and care
Ideal Candidate
- Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and move heavy furniture
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and consistent follow-through
- Friendly, respectful, and comfortable interacting with the public
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Prior experience with driving, moving, or delivery preferred
