Job Summary
We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven professional to lead Avalon.AI’s marketing organization, shaping and executing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy that accelerates brand awareness, lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This high-level role demands a strategic thinker with deep expertise in B2B SaaS marketing, with a focus on AI and healthcare. Collaborating closely with product, sales and executive teams, this role will work towards positioning Avalon.AI as a market leader in healthcare AI solutions.
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and own the overall go-to-market strategy, associated budget, roadmap and measures of success.
- Ensure strategy aligns with key target audiences from employers, TPAs, wellness platforms, and providers.
- Partner with our sister organization to build a provider acquisition plan to onboard physicians to the platform.
Demand Generation & Brand Positioning
- Craft compelling narratives that highlight Avalon.AI’s unique value and support sales efforts.
- Create and oversee integrated campaigns across digital, events, partnerships and PR to generate high-quality leads.
- Responsible for overall brand positioning including public relations, branding, and events strategy.
End User Engagement
- Partner with Customer Success and Tech teams to ensure necessary requirements are implemented for effective end user engagement.
- Deploy CRM campaigns that onboard and engage end users through the PhysicianGPS platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure strong branding throughout the product and customer experience.
Organizational Leader
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.
- Represent marketing at the upper-management level, influencing product roadmap and sales enablement while building external relationships with influencers, media and industry partners.
- Provide insight and help develop thought leadership assets.
- Partner with product teams to launch new features and platforms, creating go-to-market strategies that include pricing, messaging and competitive analysis.
- Communicate valuable feedback from the market to relevant teams within the organization.
Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8-10 years of proven experience in the healthcare industry; preferably 2-5 years in a VP/Director-level position at high-growth tech or AI startups/SaaS companies.
- Results-oriented leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proven track record of scaling marketing from an early-stage is a must.
- Experience with HubSpot, Intercom, WordPress, Google Analytics preferred.
- Interest and knowledge in AI technologies and their practical application to healthcare organizations.
