As our Quality Inspector on 1st shift, you will inspect incoming materials and finished assemblies to ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications. You’ll play a key role in maintaining product integrity through visual and dimensional inspections, documentation accuracy, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience & Skills:
- Experience inspecting mechanical or fabricated parts (not PC boards or mobile devices).
- Familiarity with inspection tools: micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and machine shop reports.
- Mechanically inclined with experience in tooling and assembly environments.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Work Ethic & Expectations:
- Punctual, dependable, and detail oriented.
- Willingness to perform outside inspections (10–15% of the time).
- Comfortable with manual documentation and digital data entry.
- Eagerness to learn—welding inspection training is provided but not a required experience.
What You'll Do:
- Inspect incoming machine shop parts and final product assemblies.
- Complete receiving inspection reports and manually enter data into the system.
- Perform visual inspections for quality and conformance.
- Use micrometers and other tools to verify dimensions.
- Review and analyze reports from the machine shop.
- Learn and support welding inspections with future training.
- Participate in blueprint review and documentation upkeep.
- Conduct outside inspections and assist with vendor coordination as needed.
